Your journey begins in one of the oldest parks in Paris, where a secret vineyard reveals the first piece of the puzzle. As you explore, you’ll uncover the quarter’s deep winemaking roots, tracing a legacy that spans over 2,000 years, from Roman times through the Middle Ages and into the vibrant natural wine movement of today. Follow the clues and solve challenges to uncover the rich history of the area’s vineyards and wine culture. Includes • A comprehensive overview of the oldest quarter in Paris • Sightings of some of Paris best-known landmarks • Hidden vineyards, shady parks and background to viticulture • Sparkling wine tasting (or juice for children and the abstemious) Time & Cost • Approx 2 hours long • 50€ per person • Exclusive (max 20 history enthusiasts) • Relatively easy (about 1.5 kilometres of walking) Practical info • Start time 10:30am (or upon request min. 8 paying) • Meeting point is by the Cuvier Fountain, 2 rue Linne 75005 • Children welcome (under 4563 days old are free of charge) • Minimum 6 participants (combined or private bookings)
